When KitchenTime began to rethink the efficiency of their warehouse, Element Logic came up with an automated solution

The e-commerce entrepreneurs Joel Falck and Anton Malmberg have had quite a journey since they started KitchenTime three years ago. With the help from Element Logic they took control over their intralogistics.

As one of the leading Nordic suppliers of home-products, KitchenTime offer 70 000 products to more than 250 000 customers in the Nordic countries. However, they needed help to increase their efficiency.


A brand new warehouse

KitchenTimehad a third-party logistics set-up when they decided to rethink the efficiency of their warehouse. In order to increase the efficiency further, Element Logic participated in the process of automating a new warehouse from scratch.

The new warehouse of 5 000m2 located in Eskilstuna now features an AutoStore® set up with room for 35 000 bins. Element Logic also delivered all manual racking for goods not stored in AutoStore, and the enitre intralogistics processes were managed by Element WCS®.


Set-up for future growth

Element Logic’s solutions for automated warehouse operations now makes it possible for KithenTime to further scale up their business in the upcoming years. The AutoStore® installation with Element WCS® provides a solid set-up for greater long-term capacity, contributing to both scalability and more efficient processes.

In addition to optimizing their warehouse performance, the new automatedwarehouse system provides the ability to manage seasonal changes peaks.
